okay.. that lots and lots stuff.. has piled up... so yeah.. here goes a little bit..
i am becoming an increasingly busy person. i thought i was busy before but man.. it just keeps getting worse.. lets see...
sundays-- i have church at 10, then a bible study at 6.. somewhere in between that i either spend time with duane or i study or prepare for the study (or all) after the study i study more/spend time with d... sleep
mondays-- i have class from 8-1115 then work from 12-10, study, sleep
tuesdays-- class from 1130-145, followed by pre-assessing, paperwork, studying, and d... sleep
wednesdays-- clinical from 645-330, more paperwork , spend time with d, then youth group 7-9 , time with d... sleep
thursdays-- clinical from 645-330, more paperwork, time with d, then focus 7-9, time with d... sleep
fridays-- class 8-1115, work 12-10, study... sleep
saturdays-- work 9-6, study, spend time with d... sleep
Somewhere in all that stuff I spend time to sleep (very minimal), pray, read the bible (sadly-minimal) and read about 8 books that I really want/need to read.
I also am now on the "staff" at CBC for the youth group.. I am on the FAT team.. which is the leadership team for the youth group (sr high) that will be able to spend more time with them and planning and such. Then in June, we are going on a mission trip to Reynosa Mexico!
Needless to say, I am in great need of cutting out some things, at least till school is out on April 12. so I sadly have decided to cut out FOCUS.. it was a tough decision, but I feel that God is pulling me more toward the youth group and less toward FOCUS. I love FOCUS and will miss seeing all ya'll every week too , but for right now I am not going to be in attendance for a bit... I can't do it all!
Please pray for me that I am able to become less busy, and focus more on my relationship with God. I would also like for ya'll to pray for the youth at CBC, that they will embrace the changes coming to them over these next few weeks/months/etc and will see that it is about God, not about who is there, or who isn't there... pray for our upcoming trip to Reynosa, and that those going will be going to honor God, and not just because "everyone else is doing it" and that God will truly work in those people's lives. |
